 Don Baker
began working with pageant contestants in 1989 and he now literally
works from Honolulu and Los Angeles to New York and Boston and Seattle to Miami and nearly 40 major
cities in between with pageant contestants and corporate and professional people.
The Don Baker philosophy is based on the concept of what he calls being "open and outward." It's a
concept that is centered on the woman's personality, more specifically her feelings, beliefs,
attitudes and convictions, making her uniquely herself. That coincides with the fact he has
always said the contestant must create the image of Miss America and Miss USA into the image of herself.
Five of his clients went on to win the Miss America Pageant. Eight of the last 12 Miss USA
titleholders are his clients including the last four including the current Miss USA, Rachel Smith.
His Teen clients have also been successful including three who became Miss Teen USA and the first-ever
Miss America Outstanding Teen.
